Redhill learner excels at Allegretto Eisteddfod

MORNINGSIDE – The non-profit art organisation aims to develop performing amateur artists and drive maximum opportunities for all of its participants.

Celebrations were all around as Redhill School learner Abigail Larsen took home the win in the recent Inter-Provincial Allegretto Eisteddfod.

The Grade 11 learner was the winning performer in the Broadway category for her rendition of the Sound of Music by Bill Lee from the film Sound of Music.

Abigail achieved scores of 98.2 per cent, 98,6per cent, and 98,8per cent (A+++ Prestige Award) as she progressed through the provincial competition to reach the final national competition.

Redhill School congratulated the special learner on social media for her phenomenal achievement. “We are so proud of you, this is so well-deserved after all the time, commitment, and dedication you have towards everything you do.”
