Foundation fights for its dreamers
ILLOVO – For over 30 years the non-profit foundation has offered thousands of children a magical moment to regain their childhood that is being lost to a life-threatening illness.
The Reach For A Dream Foundation in Illovo shares its appreciation for the community as it continues to fight for its dreamers.
For over 30 years the non-profit foundation has offered thousands of children a magical moment to regain their childhood that is being lost to a life-threatening illness.
According to Reach For A Dream’s head of business Natalie Lazaris, while this has been another challenging year for all South Africans, it has been even harder for the dreamers fighting life-threatening illnesses.
“These children are faced with their mortality on a daily basis and due to the pandemic, are feeling more isolated and alone than ever before.”
She added that the support of the community and donors alike has enabled the organisation to continue its work and fulfil the dreams of dozens of children across the community,” said Lazaris.
“As we go into the festive season, we urge you to think about families and children, who are faced with more challenging situations than our own.
“We appeal to you to consider becoming part of the Reach For Dream Foundation in any way that you find possible – thank you for believing in the power of dreams.”
