Grand opening of Guess shop in Sandton

Socialites, business owners and artists around Sandton came together on April 13 for the grand opening of the clothing brand, Guess at Sandton City.

Although the highlight of the event was aimed at showcasing stylish clothes and accessories to prestigious guests, the clothing brand took the time to share their vision and expectation in their new location.

CEO of FrontierCo, Bernard Mostert, attended the event alongside regional director of Guess Ufuk Memoglu who visited the country to witness the special occasion.

“We worked really hard to get to this point today and we are looking forward to the official opening of the store on April 14. The clothing brand is confident that it will give South Africans a great platform to express themselves. The fact that we still wear it to this day after 41 years of its existence just says a lot,” said Memoglu.

Food and drinks were in constant rotation as participants connected with one another to observe items in the store.

“I got invited by Guess, brought my sister with me and so far it has been amazing. For me, the clothing brand means fashion, lifestyle, good health and just looking good every day. My favourite item is the furry jacket. I love the colour, texture and touch,” said one of the participants, Dana Bobic.
