Sandton SPCA sale is a hit
Book sales, fundraisers, corporate sponsorships, and debit order donors are all vital aspects that help to ensure the sustainability of the SPCA.
The Sandton SPCA hosted another edition of its fundraising pop-up book sale in Morningside Manor on May 7.
With books going for as little as R20 each, the pop-up was greatly supported by the community. The children’s book table, in particular, was an all-around favourite.
The book sale is one of the key fundraisers for the local SPCA, general manager Meg Wilson previously told The Chronicle.
The Sandton SPCA also raises money through other fundraisers, corporate sponsorships and debit order donations.
“[If] every person is able to help, whether it be something as simple as sharing our social media posts, signing up for a MySchool card and nominating the Sandton SPCA, donating unwanted goods and books to our Charity Shop, having an SPCA tin in your store or office, attending our fundraisers, joining our volunteer team or becoming a monthly debit order donor, every little act and donation counts,” she said.
