Dinosaurs visit Sandton
Founder of Dino Exp, David Huni, shares his story of how the exhibition came into existence.
You are never too old or young to learn things from the past especially when it comes to prehistoric animals.
On December 3, the Dino Expo which focuses on the anatomy and lives of dinosaurs was held at The Venue in Morningside.
The majority of the visitors were children and the excitement was palpable for the 20 replicas of different dinosaurs which also moved to make them more realistic.
The man behind the ‘resurrection’ of the dinosaurs was David Huni. “Growing up, I’ve always had a fascination with dinosaurs and it grew on me. The story behind them getting extinct as well was something that I’ve always carried with me. It teaches us as humans to look after the world and to make sure that we don’t end up in the same predicament as them [dinosaurs].
We have to keep our environment clean. That is what drives me to do what I do and also I love to share my knowledge on this topic with different kinds of people that visit us,” said Huni.
According to Huni, his exhibition has been held in Asia, Australia and Europe.
The exhibition will be on until March 2023.
