Sandton School Group reflects on a year of purpose

Sandton School Group looks back on the year with pride as it continues to encourage its learners to have a curious mind, explore their hidden talents and help find their purpose in life.

It is no secret that the global pandemic has changed life as we know it and it’s more important than ever to ask the necessary questions for our human race to supersede the past and make sure that we prepare, beyond expectation for the future.

This was according to Sandton School Group executive head Nadya Katz as the school wraps up the year.

“As we continue to embrace diversity, individuality, and cultural differences, we provide a safe and confident space for all learners, to ask the necessary questions without judgement or concern.”

She noted that the school continuously aims to ignite a curiosity in each learner to explore their hidden talents and help them find their purpose in life.

“[We want learners] to use their well-educated minds to succeed in their life’s goals and aspirations and contribute positively to humankind.”

Katz added that the school looks back on 2022 with the utmost pride.

“As the year draws to a close, we want to encourage all the Grade 12’s, ours and across the country, to persevere in your efforts to make the best of your final exams.”

Katz shared the famous quote by Helen Keller that resonated with the school’s ethos and values, ‘a well-educated mind will always have more questions than answers.’

“From our Sandton School Group Family, we wish all the members, teachers, parents, and learners in our school community and beyond a wonderful, safe, and joyous holiday season.

“May we be reminded that kindness is one of the very few things, that we can still give freely. Live every day to the fullest and remember to ask those questions, even if you don’t get all the answers,” Katz concluded.
