Kyla is a female one-year-old Border collie.

As the new year gets off to a rapid-pace start, Sandton community members looking to adopt a new companion will be pleased to note these available potential friends waiting in line to be adopted. The adoption process includes a home inspection to ensure that potential pet owners have a home conducive to animals.

Toni is an adult domestic long-haired male.

Interested animal lovers will be expected to cover the cost of adoption fees, vaccinations, deworming and sterilisation of their new pets.

Lady is a two-year-old female Afrikanis.

Sandton SPCA Adoption Process

There are a few things to keep in mind when looking to adopt a pet from the Sandton SCPA:

People looking to adopt pets have to come to meet their desired pet in person.
Persons looking to adopt are required to complete and submit a booking form, as well as pay a non-refundable deposit of R200.
Proof of residence, ID copy and permission letter from the adopting persons’ landlord/body corporate where relevant, are also required.
Pet owners are required to bring their existing dog(s) in for a meet and greet with the pet they want to adopt.
A pre-adoption home inspection will be performed.
An adoption fee of R800 will be required from a person(s) adopting upon pet collection.
A follow-up home inspection will be performed.
