Vox Pop: What criterion will you be using to vote this year?

Bryanston community members were asked what criterion each would be using to vote in the upcoming election.

Bryanston community members weigh in on what will influence their vote on election day.

With elections just under two months away, Bryanston locals along Grosvenor Road were asked on March 19, what criterion each would be using to vote come May 29. This is what they had to say…

Tyris Ndhlovu: I want to vote for the DA, but there’s too much controversy around them. As much as we need change, people aren’t educated on what would happen if we had to vote for the DA.

Howard Rodd: I hate the existing government. I’ll vote for anyone other than the existing government. I’ll vote for the DA; I’ve always voted for them; I always will. I’m looking forward to seeing Steenhuisen bring change to the mess we’re in.

Mari-Lynn van den Heever: You have to take into account everything that’s happening in South Africa – financially, our economy, and our health system – everything’s failing. I’d vote for someone truthful and honest who can change South Africa for the better.
