Wendywood High School is celebrating a momentous achievement after being recognised as the Best Secondary School of the Year 2024 in Sports.

The prestigious award was presented at the recent Johannesburg East District ECP Awards, recognising the school’s outstanding commitment to sporting excellence.

The school’s acting principal, Kubashini Pillay, expressed her immense pride and honour at the school’s success. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and teamwork of our learners, and teachers, and the entire school community.

“The school’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to excel in sports, coupled with a supportive environment, has resulted in this remarkable accomplishment,” she added.
