Bryanston’s Red Wall mystery ends with a R50 000 winner

A seemingly simple coat of red paint that turned an ordinary wall in Bryanston into the talk of the town has finally come to an end.

The red wall that got Bryanston talking has finally revealed its secret and changed one man’s life.

After weeks of speculation and more than 50 correct guesses, Craft Homes stepped forward as the brand behind the bold guerrilla campaign.

The mystery ended with a dramatic key-drop event, where Richard Bussell unlocked the winning door and walked away with R50 000 in cash.

“Amazed, surprised, just incredible. My wife and I are so excited. This will help us build the home we have dreamed of,” said Bussell.

The campaign reached more than 100 000 people online and sparked conversation across the city.
