Rivonia businesswoman and recruitment trailblazer Mary Khutlane has been nominated for the prestigious 2026 Woman of Stature Awards South Africa, now in its 11th season.
The Woman of Stature (WOS) Awards South Africa has recognised Mary Khutlane for her impact in the recruitment industry, particularly her dedication to mentoring graduates and creating opportunities for young professionals.

She said for the first time, the awards have introduced a regional nomination process, and she will represent Gauteng.
“This nomination is more than personal recognition. It strengthens our brand, attracts both clients and candidates, and validates our ongoing efforts of making an indelible impact in the recruitment industry.”
Khutlane’s career spans more than 15 years in HR and recruitment. She has mentored countless graduates, often guiding them into their first jobs at major companies. One of her proudest success stories is that of a young woman she mentored, who went on to start her own business after overcoming a difficult background.

“My greatest passion is changing lives. Helping someone land their dream job brings me joy. I may not be able to employ everyone, but changing one life at a time has a ripple effect that reaches families and communities.”
Her leadership also extends beyond her company. Recently appointed secretary of the Toastmasters Morningside branch, she says the role ties into her vision of serving on boards that focus on youth development.
If she wins, Khutlane plans to use the recognition as a platform to further her mission.
“Winning this award would be a springboard. It would amplify my voice, increase visibility, and allow me to contribute more to charity, especially to causes close to my heart, like HOPE, a home for orphaned girls.”
