Safata students bring the chills with their production of Grease in Sandton
Students from the South Africa Film, Acting and Theatre Academy received a standing ovation at the opening of its production of Grease at the Theatre on the Square.
The atmosphere was electrifying at the Theatre On The Square as the South Africa Film, Acting and Theatre Academy’s (Safata) production of Grease opened in Sandton.
Students brought the whirlwind story of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski to life in this fun, action-packed and musical sing-along on September 1.
Danny was played by Reinier van Zyl while the role of Sandy was played by Simoné de Jager.
Chloé van Heyningen (as Betty Rizzo), Tumisho Nkadimeng (as Frenchy), Jordan Good (as Marty) and Lericia van Zyl (as Jan) brought the infamous Pink Ladies to life.
The T-Birds were played by Lehlohonolo Gumede (as Kenickie), Katiso Moloi (as Doody), Navin Jacobs (as Roger) and Navin Jacobs (as Sonny).
