End of the year function at the Forest Farm Centre
Executive director of Forest Farm Centre shares the expierence of the centre's end of the year function which included a concert and an award ceremony for the residents.
Residents of the Forest Farm Centre all got to show how they groove on the dance floor during the centre’s end-of-the-year function which occurred on December 3.
The function which brought out the smiles and laughter of the residents consisted of numerous activities offered to both the residents of the facility and their families who attended. The function consisted of a concert, an award ceremony, a raffle draw with a casual lunch.

According to the executive director, Peter Lombard, the theme for the event was ‘Christmas Extravaganza on the MSC’.
“The audience was incredibly supportive and appreciative of residents’ efforts because they understood their limitations. The event was a great success and a reminder of the Ubuntu principle. Every single person present played a role in making this a community achievement.
