Two arrests made in connection with alleged Atholl house robbery

Bramley Police Station recently arrested two individuals who are suspected to be connected to an alleged house robbery in Atholl.

Bramley police recently arrested two suspects following a house robbery in the Atholl area.

According to Bramley Police Station spokesperson Captain Molefe Mogodi, it was alleged that on December 3, the complainant was asleep at his residence when he was woken up by strange noises coming from the bathroom.

“He woke up and went to check what was happening when suddenly two men allegedly approached and overpowered him. They then forced their way into his bedroom.

“The two men then tied up the complainant and his family members with cable ties. It was reported to the police that they then helped themselves to valuable items.”

Mogodi added members of the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit handled the investigation.

“The detectives followed up the information and managed to arrest two suspects aged 37 and 38 who were detained at Bramley police cells.”

The suspects will appear in the local magistrate’s court soon.
