Mental health in media discussed

Local media people had a much-needed light shone into their lives about mental health issues in their working industry.

There is no health without mental health. Psychiatry professor Chris Szabo, who is on a mission to serve better mental wellness to South Africans, hosted a recorded film podcast on May 31 at CliffCentral studios in Sandton. The film aimed at addressing issues of mental health, managing PSTD, stigma, and personal well-being, which are triggering points in the media industry. Panellists included Katy Katopodis, Ahmed Kajee and Katlego Sekhotho.
