Carlie introduces a game-changer for busy women

According to Lubbe, she wanted to create a superior product that works like a charm and gives one time to enjoy their life.

Passionate about helping women overcome the intimidation that they feel towards makeup application, especially when it comes to contouring and highlighting, a Sandton resident opened a makeup line.

A former optometrist, mother, local businesswoman, entrepreneur, and beauty salon owner, Carlie Lubbe has been living in Sandton for 12 years and has finally come through for many women who struggle with makeup.

Lubbe said she has always loved a life hack, as it saved her time and money. “It was this desire for convenience and simplicity that led me to the development of EasyGlow.”

She explained that EasyGlow was a three-year journey to design and manufacture a product that would help other busy mothers like her achieve their best makeup look without needing the skills of a makeup artist.

“I have always enjoyed looking my best, but I do not have a ton of time to spend doing it. A few of my friends would often ask how long it takes to apply my makeup. They would laugh when I said only five minutes.”

The 44-year-old pointed out that the best part about all this is making a difference in women’s lives by simplifying their make-up routine.

“I am not a make-up artist, but all women deserve contouring and highlighting that is more accessible. All women deserve to look and feel their best.”

She added that their silver lining is their Share the Glow campaign, as for every EasyGlow sold, they donate five school lunches to The Lunchbox Fund.

“By getting something for yourself, you can also fill a hungry tummy for an entire school week. It takes looking and feeling good to a whole new level. Beauty is always more than skin deep; with EasyGlow, it is a feeling of helping transform children’s education, one meal at a time.”
