Kids Haven’s vision, hopes, and aspirations for 2025
Kids Haven hopes to strengthen collaborations with corporations and businesses.
As we welcome 2025, the Kids Haven in Bryanston is happy to share their vision, hopes, and aspirations for the year.
Sam Mokgopha, CEO of Kids Haven, said, “This year we want to strengthen partnerships and collaborations with corporations and businesses.”
He added that in particular, they want to elevate their boys’ programmes and need support from the networks to mentor and coach boys into becoming responsible men.

“This is critical if we want to see change in our communities. There is a gap between gender-based violence and the boy child that needs to be addressed.”
Mokgopha elaborated that they have to advocate for human rights and social justice for the boy child.
“We also need partners to come on board for all our preventative workshops and programmes, including positive parenting and family empowerment.”
He said that these programmes make a big difference because they lead to fewer children needing to go into care, less gender-based violence in communities, and create environments where people love and support each other, often in difficult living circumstances.
