Phone app Namola: ready to save you
South African safety application continues to serve the nation with security solutions.

Many people living across South Africa agree that crime is a problem in the country.
The Namola application emerged in 2017 offering safety and security packages to South Africans at the click of a button on their smartphone devices.
Namola works by allowing users to send emergency alerts, as well as their GPS location, to emergency response units for ease in requesting urgent assistance.

The application’s users are able to track emergency services responding to their call in real-time, thus providing personal safety to users.
Current Namola CEO Peter Adolphs describes Namola as a lifeline which connects users with emergency services at the touch of a button.
“Whether it’s a medical emergency, a crime in progress, or any other urgent situation, Namola ensures help is just a few clicks away,” Adolphs writes. “I am deeply committed to creating safer communities through innovative solutions.”
Adolphs began leading the innovative organisation Namola as CEO in 2021.
