Held on July 24, the event kicked off with welcome drinks and a walkthrough of SPAR’s latest private label offerings.

Each course was introduced by the chef, who explained the story and seasonal inspirations behind the dishes.

The dessert round wrapped up with a decadent chocolate brownie before closing remarks were delivered by SPAR’s national PR, communications and sponsorship manager, Mpudi Maubane.

She emphasised the commitment to supporting local communities, small suppliers, food innovation and building relationships with media.

“We are always available to take the conversation further and transition you to get items that work for your publications. It’s such an honour to have been with you here today, and we wish to see you very soon at our next engagement.”
