A major water pipe burst at the corner of 4th Avenue and 10th Road in Kew has continued to gush clean water into the street for several days, raising concerns from residents and commuters as no official response has been received from Joburg Water.
A burst water pipe at the corner of 4th Avenue and 10th Road in Kew has been leaking thousands of litres of clean water since the evening of July 31, creating a growing environmental and infrastructure concern for residents and motorists in the area.

On August 5, the water was still streaming down the road, with visible litter and debris collecting along the way, which has led to low water pressure in surrounding areas, causing increased frustration among residents.
