Mini World Cup Cricket 2025 on its way in Joburg North
The Mini World Cup Cricket 2025 fixtures will continue every weekend through September, with the final games set for October 4.
The much-anticipated Mini World Cup Cricket 2025 is underway, bringing together young cricketers from across Johannesburg in a celebration of sport and talent.

The tournaments, which began on August 31, will run through to October 4, with matches hosted at schools around Johannesburg North.
This year’s competition is divided into three age groups:
- U9 matches at Grayston Preparatory School,
- U11 fixtures shared between Grayston Preparatory and Northcliff Primary School, and
- U13 games at Bryanston High School.
According to the organiser, Sydwell Ndlovu, so far, the opening games have drawn enthusiastic support from parents and the local cricket lovers. “The event is about more than just cricket; it’s about creating opportunities for young players to showcase their skills, build friendships, and experience the thrill of representing their teams in a world cup-style setup.”
