Last edition of 3Cube Monthly 1K Americano delivers fierce rallies at Sandton Racket Club

Energy and excitement filled the air at Sandton Racket Club as players took to the courts for the latest edition of the 3Cube Monthly 1K Americano, a friendly yet competitive padel tournament sponsored by 3Cube.

Held on October 22, the tournament drew a lively crowd of players of all levels, coming together for an evening of fast rallies, sportsmanship, and social connection.
After several thrilling rounds, Ashish Singh emerged as the champion, claiming the R1 000 prize loaded directly into his Platomic wallet, a digital rewards system that players can use to pay for games and club activities.

“It was a great tournament,” said Singh, beaming after his victory. “I really enjoyed all the games and meeting new people. It was a lot of fun, and I’m excited that, for now, I won’t be using money from my pocket to pay for the activities every weekend.”
Among the competitors was Tshepo-Mpho Boikanyo, who praised both the organisation of the event and the welcoming spirit of the players. “The experience was nice and enjoyable. A very good level of people. Even for those at a lower level, no one was problematic. Everyone came to have fun, everyone was friendly. It was a lovely experience.”
