Bryanston East Community Forum shares festive message with residents

Holiday spirit has landed in Bryanston East.

Anyone driving through the roundabout at Bryanston Drive and The River Road might have spotted a small but meaningful change this week on the Bryanston Buffaloes.

The Bryanston East Community Forum (BECF) has put up a festive message wishing residents, and everyone passing through the neighbourhood a peaceful and safe holiday season in the form of tiny Christmas hats on the buffaloes and the birds.

According to Ian Tumiel from BECF, the gesture is simple, but it reflects the forum’s ongoing effort to keep the community connected, especially at a time of year when many people are on the move or winding down after a long 2025.

The message encourages road users to take care, stay alert on the busy December roads, and enjoy the festive break.

Tumiel said they hope the sign brings a little warmth to daily traffic and reminds residents that safety remains a shared responsibility during the holiday rush.
