Sandton Sports Club and Provibes Netball SA serve up fitness and friendship

Provibes Netball SA is turning Saturdays into a welcoming social netball experience for players of all levels at Sandton Sports Club.

If you have been meaning to get active but did not know where to start, Sandton Sports Club might have the answer.

Provibes Netball SA hosts social netball games every Saturday, inviting men and women of all skill levels to join in. Whether you are a seasoned player or have never stepped onto a court before, the sessions are designed to be inclusive and relaxed.

Facilitator Glenda Aphane said the focus is not on competition, but on connection. “We welcome anyone and everyone, male or female. Even if you do not know how to play, we will teach you.”

According to Aphane, the initiative is about more than just sport; it is about creating a space where people can meet, build friendships, and improve their fitness in a supportive environment. “We are doing this so people can meet other people, stay healthy, and just have netball fun.”

She said new players are welcome every week, making it easy for anyone to step in and give it a try.
