Hosted at Decathlon at the Winnie Mandela Precinct, the social run for a better Bryanston offered participants the choice of a 5km or 10km route, with both running and walking welcome, encouraging residents to bring along their families and friends and enjoy an active morning together.

The initiative was organised by Better Bryanston as part of World Clean-up Day, with the organisation using the occasion to remind residents that creating cleaner and better neighbourhoods is a shared responsibility.

“This day was made possible thanks to the efforts of everybody involved,” she said.

She encouraged residents to play their part in keeping their surroundings clean and contributing to a better community.

“Do your bit for a cleaner world and a cleaner suburb on World Clean-up Day.”
