SHARPEVILLE. – Sharpeville Police are investigating a case of murder following the shooting of 47-year-old Rango Vincent Padi in Vuka, Dubula drive yesterday.
It is said that Padi who had been driving in a white Polo Vivo was chased by two males who were driving in a Silver Cherry. When Padi’s car stopped, he fled the car and jumped into one of the yards where he was cornered by his killers and brutally gunned down with multiple shots.
Police spokesperson Captain Attie Loate says, “We received a call about a shooting. On arrival, Police found a White Polo Vivo that was driven by the victim not far away from the scene. The suspects had already fled the scene. A murder case has already been opened and investigations are underway. ”
The victim’s family has since expressed their grief and shock. His Brother Daddy Mokodutlo said that it was a sad day for the family and that they were handling the news as best as they could.
