Eight people were left injured after a collision between a taxi and a light motor vehicle occurred early afternoon. The collision occurred on the corner of Hertz Street and Rutherford Street in Vanderbijlpark. Allegedly, the light motor vehicle did not stop at a traffic light and then t-boned the taxi. The collision occurred on the corner of Hertz Street and Rutherford Street in Vanderbijlpark. Allegedly, the light motor vehicle did not stop at a traffic light and then t-boned the taxi. When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found that all the occupants of the taxi had already climbed out of the taxi. After assessment, it was found that eight people sustained minor injuries. ER24 treated and transported all the patients to Mediclinic Emfuleni as well as Johan Heyns Community Healthcare Centre for further treatment. The cause of the incident remains unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
