A woman was injured after the vehicle she was driving rolled multiple times on the R59 near Johan le Roux in Meyerton this afternoon.
It is understood that the woman was travelling towards Vereeniging when she lost control of the vehicle, went over the middle island into oncoming traffic and rolled multiple times.
ER24 paramedics who attended to the incident found the vehicle on its roof. The woman understood to be in her 30’s was trapped in the vehicle.
Midvaal Fire and Rescue used the jaws of life to extricate her from the vehicle.
Upon assessment by paramedics, it was found that the woman sustained moderate injuries.
She was treated and transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
