SEDIBENG. – Initiation season has arrived and once again parents are urged to be on high-alert this season in order to ensure the safety of their children.

As a result of the incidents that always take place during this period, the SAPS Sedibeng Cluster  Illegal Initiation Schools Awareness Roadshow took lace yesterday.

The initiative was supported by the  Provincial Social Crime Prevention Unit. The campaign was taken to various communities to educate parents and community members regarding illegal initiation schools.

This festive season, parents are urged to be more vigilant as these schools are very problematic to the society.
