MEYERTON. –  The Meyerton police spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele reports that police have launched an investigation into the murder of a woman whose body was found in an open veld next to Alma street  Meyerton Farms recently.

“Police received a call from a passerby. When police arrived on the scene, they found that the woman had sustained a wound to the back of her head and that her body had begun to decompose. The deceased was wearing a black and white blouse, grey track suit pants and blue sandals.  A blue overall trouser was found next to her. ”
