VEREENIGING. – ER24 reports that Two people were left seriously injured this morning following a two-vehicle collision on the Ascot-on-Vaal Road in Vereeniging.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road. A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was found seated inside her vehicle while a man, believed to be in his 50s was also seated inside his vehicle.Paramedics assessed both patients and found that they had sustained numerous injuries and were in a serious condition.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further treatment. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
