MEYERTON. – ER24 reports that a man  was left critically injured last night following an alleged robbery at a shop on Jan Neethling Street in Meyerton.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says, “paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 18h30 to find the man lying next to a car outside a shop. Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several gunshot wounds and was in a critical condition.”

The man was treated for his injuries, provided with advanced life support interventions and transported to a nearby private hospital for further treatment. The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
