ArcelorMittal South Africa advises that there have been some fraudulent/hoax recruitment adverts circulating on social media platforms.
“Please note that ArcelorMittal South Africa’s sites, including Newcastle, Saldanha, Vanderbjilpark, Pretoria and Vereeniging, do not conduct any recruitment at any of its gates and entrances,” the company says on its website.
“ArcelorMittal South Africa is a responsible employer and will also never request a fee for employment. Please note that any such vacancies do not originate from our company. Any such adverts should be reported to our fraud hotline (South Africa) 0800 00 1672 or fraudhotlinesa@arcelormittal.com”.
