The group bagged first position award in the Ethno category, two awards in the Solo category and another two awards in the Duet category.

The dance crew returned to South African soil on Thursday, November 22, where they were welcomed by family, friends, community organisations, councillors and the Fezile Dabi District

The dance crew was then escorted to their official welcome ceremony, organised by the District Municipality at Thembalethu Hall, Zamdela, where they treated the audience with a special dance performance.
Executive Mayor Max Moshodi was the keynote speaker. During his address, Moshodi said the District Municipality will advocate community projects.
“As Fezile Dabi, we have taken a decision that we will support all community projects,” he said.
The annual dance festival is known for celebrating the quality and diversity of dance styles through live performances and workshops and is attended by various dancers from more than 80 countries.
