Child critical after being ejected from car

Gauteng.- At 15:51 on Wednesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Duiker Road, Rispark AH Johannesburg.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a SUV lost control resulting in the vehicle rolling several times.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that a 47-year-old male and a 12-year-old female had sustained moderate injuries.

An 8-year-old female was found to be in a critical condition after she was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.

The patient required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise her and once treated was rapidly transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
