Four seriously injured in Umhlanga crash

KwaZulu-Natal.- At 10:17 today (Monday) morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 North Bound between La Lucia and Umhlanga.

Reports from the scene indicate that a SUV and two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that four adult males sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.

Due to the nature of one of the patients injuries a medical helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift one of the patients.

Circumstances leading up to the collision will be investigated by the Durban North SAPS who were on scene.
