Taxi and car collide leaving eleven injured

Eleven people were left injured yesterday morning following a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle on Springbok Road in Midvaal.
ER24 paramedics, along with the Provincial Services, arrived on the scene shortly before 08:00 to find the taxi in the left-hand lane while the light motor vehicle was parked a short distance away.
Medics assessed the patients and found that eleven people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
