MEYERTON. – Heineken has once again proven its commitment to brewing a better world and bringing positive change within various communities.
This comes after the recent graduation ceremony held at the Midvaal Local Municipality in honour of 24 Small, Medium & Micro Enterprise Businesses (SMMEs) entrepreneurs from 21 start-up businesses.
The enterprise development programme is the initiative of Heineken in conjunction with Jika Communications & Training. Cassius Mogoeng says, “This programme forms a part of Heineken’s Brewing a Better World initiative, through which the company aims to upskill and mentor local entrepreneurs to ensure that their businesses are more sustainable.”
Heineken believes that sustainability is a driver for business success and that business can be a positive force for change. Heineken’s sustainability strategy, “Brewing a Better World” is one of four business priorities. Heineken is always trying to find new ways to tackle society’s challenges.
