Mphaga is an up and coming female football administrator

Teboho Mphaga (24) is the young up and coming  football administrator destined to make name for herself in South African football.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, this Emfuleni Local Football Association administrator says she wants to follow in the foot steps of powerful female administrators such as Ria Ledwaba and Fran Hilton-Smith to mention but few. Since she was appointed as the organisation administrator, there are lot of positive changes she has brought especially in the Super League.
Mphaga said growing up in a ‘football family’ made her fall in love with this beautiful game.
“I used to go with my brother to watch soccer games and started to develop the love of football. I grew up with the idea that I want to be the next Banyana Banyana star  like Portia Modise.  Studying Sports Management at Vaal University of Technology (VUT) made me develop  the love to become a football administrator. Safa Sedibeng league coordinator, Mandla Dipanyekga introduced me to football administration, says Mphaga.
Her break through in football was when she was appointed as the Sedibeng’s Soncini Team Manager.  She was also appointed to manage the Gauteng Women’s U/17 Team for the Inter-Provincial Tournament.
No doubt, Mphaga is set to become a household name in South African football taking into consideration her passion for football. She has turned the Emfuleni Local Football Association into a forced to be reckoned with.
