SEBOKENG. – The Minister of Social Development, Lindiwe Zulu was joined by the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM), Gift Moerane, and his members of the mayoral committee during a visit at the temporary shelter that house the homeless at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Center in Zone14, Sebokeng recently.
Arriving around 12.30, the visitors received a warm welcome by Toughest Young Minds (TYM) drum majorette leading them inside were homeless people are kept since the Covid-19. Zulu was also joined the UNICEF ambassador.
Speaking to the homeless, she encouraged them that their lives are a journey and that they need to make up their minds and choose the best.
