Assist to locate a missing person

POTCHEFSTROOM.- Delareyville police request members of the community to assist in tracing and locating Enie Matsienyane Melato (34) of Vrisgewacht village.

She went missing in the early hours of Monday morning, 29 June 2020.

It is alleged that Enie went to sleep at about 20:30 on Sunday, 28 June leaving other family members watching television.

“A family member, who sleeps in the same room with Enie, realised at approximately 03:00 that Enie was neither on her bed nor in the bedroom. She went to look for her at the dining room, but there was no one. It was discovered that the kitchen door was opened. She looked for her further outside the house, but could not be found,” Colonel Adéle Myburgh said in a statement.

Furthermore, she was also checked at various family members and relatives outside Vrisgewacht, but that did not yield any positive results.

“Enie, who is living with a mental disability, was finally reported as missing to the police. She was wearing a black skirt, maroon tracksuit top and black pair of takkies.”

The police request anyone with information that can assist in tracing Enie to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Ofentse Molusi on Cell: 073 625 2998 or your nearest police station. Anonymous tip-offs can be communicated via MySAPS App or by calling the Crime Stop number: 08600 10111.
