Sasolburg police station closed after employee tests positive

SASOLBURG. -The Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane and the entire management has apologised for any inconvenience caused following the closure of the Sasolburg police station.

This follows a Covid-19 related incident at the station where an employee tested positive. The community has been advised to make use of the Detective offices in Riemland Street where the Community Service Center (CSC) will  be  temporarily operating.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Motantsi Makhele says, “The building will be contaminated and members will e subjected to necessary Covid-19 related protocols. The community will be informed once the station is operational.”
