Young man (19) stabbed to death at soccer field

DE DEUR. – Police have a arrested a 20-years-old man for murder of a man (19) at the Ramaphosa Informal Settlement  that happened on Wednesday at around 16:00

The deceased and the suspect are said to have been engaged in an argument at the soccer field of  the Informal Settlement and the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the deceased once on the chest and ran away.

The victim was taken to the local hospital where he died whilst receiving medical treatment later in the afternoon. After the community noticed what had happened, they traced the suspect and apprehended him. Police were called and the suspect was handed to the Police for arrest.

Police said that the arrested suspect will be appearing soon at the local Magistrate Court
