Terrible year comes to an end for Class of 2020

EVATON. – A disastrous year has come to an end for the Class of 2020 as they now prepare to write their final year exams.
Tokelo Secondary School in Evaton hosted a motivational ceremony for their matriculants at the school on Friday. NWU Vaal student, Tshepang Mosokwene was invited to come and to give the students a motivational talk. Mosokwene was invited to motivate the students based on her life experience as she started her primary school at a special school.
“I was asked to come and motivate learners because of my life experience and its relevance to driving away anxiety in matriculants with the fear of not making it to varsity.”
Mosokwene said that this included life after matric particularly considering the fear of the Covid-19 pandemic evoked in learners across country.
“There is no secret that the academic progress of the Class of 2020 was affected due to this pandemic. I was humbled to be invited by the school principal to give these learners a motivational talk. I know it is not easy for them but they must give all their best,” she concluded.
The students appreciated Mosokwene’s presence and promised to do their best in the upcoming final examinations.
