Body of a 40-year-old male found next to Sharpeville night club

Police found a wallet in his possession and a lay-buy receipt with the name Simon Kgasu.

SHARPEVILLE. -Police are investigating the death of a male whose body was found lying  in Kensington area, next to a night club in Sharpeville.

Police spokesperson Constable Busisiwe Sango reports that police were called to the scene on Sunday morning where they found the half naked body of an unknown African male who could be 40-years-old.

“The deceased was wearing navy blue trousers, black socks and white and navy blue sneakers. Police found a wallet in his possession and a lay-buy receipt with the name Simon Kgasu.”

“No one from the area knows the deceased. Police are appealing to  members of the community who may know the deceased or his family to contact the Sharpeville SAPS on 071 675 7270.” The body was collected by Forensic Pathology Services.
