When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, medics found a man lying in the middle of the road. The taxi that had struck him was found parked a short distance away on the side of the road.

Medics quickly assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
