Boomgaard is accused of murdering Jamnadas Harkant Nathvani (71), a British National who travelled to South Africa to meet her.
Boomgaard is also charged with murdering her friend, Lynette Mustapha.
Boomgaard was arrested in Gauteng recently after the discovery of the remains of Mustapha, which ultimately led the police to the body of Nathvani.

Nathvani (71) has been missing since May. Nathvani allegedly travelled to South Africa at the beginning of the year to meet a woman friend in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal. He landed in Johannesburg, but went missing on his way to Newcastle.
Nathvani was last seen on February 22 when he took a bus from Park Station in Johannesburg to Newcastle.
His daughter got suspicious and started inquiring and asked the police to help. Nathvani’s charred body was later found.
Boomgaard is also being investigated for the disappearance of John Naisby (83), a man who met her over the internet when she was known as Zaheera Wookey at the time.
Naisby traveled from Cape Town in 2012 to meet her after earlier communicating via Facebook and emails. Boomgaard allegedly said during questioning that she had dropped off Naisby at Eastgate Mall.
Boomgaard remains in custody.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Brenda Muridili said that Boomgaard was linked to “other cases with pending investigations”.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said the matter was adjourned to November 6 for a formal bail application.
