This year is a thing of the past and because of the pandemic that is COVID-19, life will never be the same for many people. I am sure that many, like me, wish never to mention this year in their lifetime. Many people have lost their loved ones, their livelihoods, their jobs and most importantly many have lost themselves. There is, however, something that no challenge could conquer, no obstacle could stop and no trouble could defeat this year, and that’s the spirit of South Africans. Through all the difficult times, we have proved that we are, without doubt, among the most resilient, strong-willed people. We’ve weathered the storm, and demonstrated that we do have what it takes to create for ourselves a nation we can all be proud of. We, at Sedibeng Ster, have also weathered the COVID-19 storm, and as we enter 2021,we renew our pledge to you to do our very best to continue to be the most accurate, fair and balanced source of news, opinion, sports and entertainment in the Vaal region. Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones this year, those who lost an income and those experiencing difficulties of all types. We extend sincere and warm wishes to all for a safe and peaceful festive season, and a happy and prosperous 2021.
