Vereeniging police station closed due Covid-19 related incident

SAPS Management apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closure.

 

VEREENIGING. – All communities seviced by the Vereeniging police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed  after two of its members tested positive for Covid-19.

Police spokesperson  Captain Fikile Funda says, ” The Community Service Centre (CSC) will be operating from the reservists offices next to Sasol garage corner  Voortrekker and Smuts streets.

“The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by police.

“The telephone lines at Vereeniging police station CSC will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.”

Funda adds that  following decontamination, the station will be back to normal on Wednesday 06.01.2021.
