ELFA revives development in Boitshepivile

SEBOKENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) is on a mission to revive development leagues in Boitshepivile.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Zondo said they want to bring back all those teams that play under NWU Vaal Development League to affiliate to ELFA. In the past Boitshepivile was well known for the development of football playing games every weekend at the grounds outside the George Thabe Stadium. “This was long before the facilities were upgraded.
The problem started when the previous leadership neglected the stream which resulted the Boitshepivile development teams ended up playing NWU Vaal Development League. We want to revive development league in the area and we argue all the junior soccer teams in the area to come back to the association.
We understand that what happened but now we want to do right things by bringing back those teams under our structure. I’m happy because I have had discussions with those clubs and they are willing to come back. We already gave them information and forms.
“Some of those teams were part of our junior teams that participated in our tournament last December,” he concluded.
